Bad Boy Blast Sporting Clay Event Raised More than $1,062,000.00 for Permian Basin Volunteer Fire Departments and Odessa Crime Stoppers

Odessa, Texas –  In 2015 Bad Boy Blast Sporting Clay Event organizers awarded $435,000 to Andrews, Ector, Howard and Midland County Volunteer Fire Departments and the Odessa Crime Stoppers at an event earlier today.

“We are pleased to be able to raise money for our volunteer fire departments,” said Loretta Seghers, one of the founder of Bad Boy Blast. “These organizations work extremely hard to protect our communities and we are happy to provide these departments with the means to purchase necessary equipment that will protect and serve our community.”
The Bad Boy Blast Sporting Clay Event is held every year to raise funds for local first responder organizations. For 10 years the event raised more than $1.1 million for local law enforcement agencies including the Odessa and Midland police departments.  The 2014 Bad Boy Blast benefited the local VFD and proceeds of 412K was donated to Andrews, Ector, Howard & Midland county VFD’s. The 2015 event, which was held in early June, attracted 161 sponsors, 1200 shooters and gave away 200 guns. 25 sponsors set up on the course and served BBQ, alligator sausage and homemade ice cream.

Bad Boy Blast’s three  year total to the VFD and Odessa Crime stoppers total proceeds of $1,062,000.00 and 13 year donation to the cause $2,182,000.00. Permian Basin local sponsors have made this possible!
